Abstract

In this article the author discusses the impacts of economic globalization on the labor market, the article demonstrates the problems which technological innovation can have on this market and speculates about several processes of technology diffusion in electronic and biotechnology complexes. Also discussed are the possibilities of increased unemployment, the article conjectures about alternatives based in the tertiary sector. The final part analyses the paradoxes of technological globalization and inquires about the future of capitalism.
