This work evaluated the production of forage mass and chemical-bromatolologic composition of the Mombaça (Panicum maximum) grass fertilized with organic waste of the siderurgic industry (pó de balão) combinated with nitrogen and phosphorus, in conditions of greenhouse. For production of forage mass and chemical-bromatolologic, the complete randomized block design. The studied factors were: two organic wastes, poultry litter (4 g dm-3) and “pó de balão” (10 g dm-3), four levels of N (0, 50, 100, 200 mg dm-3) and four of P2O5 (0, 100, 200, 300 mg dm-3). The combination of organic waste with the nitrogen significant influence in the contents of macroelements (N, P and K) and trace element (Mn). The “pó de balão” resulted in higher levels of Fe and OM when compared to the poultry-litter. The application of phosphorus influenced the variables Zn, CP, ADF, lignin and cellulose, with the highest content obtained for each variable was associated with 100 mg kg1 P for Zn and 300 mg kg1 P for the others. The organic residue, “pó de balão”, it is contaminating the soil and forage due to the presence of heavy metals in its composition, this may be a limitation to its agricultural use as organic fertilizer.
