Abstract

Rain is unquestionable one of the most important environmental aspects for agricultural activities, this is a being a limiting factor for achieving high productivity In order to carry out an agricultural planning, it is important to take into account the precipitation period of a given city or region, and in order to do so, the objective of the study is to analyze the pluviometric precipitation of the municipality of Tracuateua-PA, in order to verify the monthly variation and annual over the last 20 years and so find out the average for each of the months and yearly. For this, data were collected through the Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INMET) in Tracuateua Meteorological Station, with these data were made statistical analyzes of arithmetic mean, variance, standard deviation, minimum value, maximum value, coefficient of variation and still, the graphical representation of each month was made over the years analyzed and for the years. All these analyzes were done in the Excel program. From the analysis, it was noticed that in the municipality in question the months that represent the highest rainfall index are between January to July, while the dry season between August to December. Among the months of the rainy season, March, April and June stand out for having a rain uniformity over the years, presenting a coefficient of variation of less than 35%, which for low rainfall reasons is considered low, since there is a large rainfall variability over time. The municipality of Tracuateua has an average annual precipitation of more than 2200 mm.KEYWORDS: Analysis, Meteorology, Rainfall, Variation.
