Abstract

Ecology studies the relations in the natural world, while archaeologystudies the construction of artificial worlds. The ecological and archaeological historical study presented here intend to combine both perspectives, through the research in Almas river, a landscape of connection between the historical archaeological site of Lavras do Abade and the city of Pirenópolis, in the Brazilian middle-western.Keywords: Historical ecology, historical archaeology, cultural and natural heritage
