Abstract

This paper present the first results of the project: Territory and Memory of the Asurini do Xingu: Collaborative Archaeology at T.I. Kuatinemu, Pará. The project is a continuation of the collaborative archaeological resear­ch that has been done with Asurini Xingu, since 2009. We will describe fieldwork and characteristics of the archaeological sites located in the area. In addition, we will reflect on the relationship between landscape and memory in that Amazonian research context. Keywords: Collaborative archaeology, Asurini do Xingu, landscape, me­mory.
