Abstract

We would do well in considering that the closest deals of archaeology are not with the past but with the future and that the latter is an open possibility to conceive a world of social justice; thus we could advance towards the acknowledgement of how much has the discipline contributed to the building of what Trouillot called “the Savage slot” and how much, perhaps, to its dismantling. Keywords: Archaeology, Multiculturalism, Multivocalism
