Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

 Before submit his manuscript, the author must verify if is in conformity with the items listed below. The text only proceeds for evaluation steps if in according with journal norms. Texts that do not adequate with the norms will be returned for authors.

Please write your manuscript before submission, using the following guidelines:

The text can be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English, in file format (.doc or .rtf), page A4, font Times New Roman, size 12, spacing 1,5 and justified alignment. The articles should have a maximum of 15 pages, including references. Reviews, interviews and essays should have a maximum of 5 pages.

Books reviews must have a title different which book’s title reviewed. The book’s title should be indicate bellow there view’s title.

The title should be written in size 14, in bold, centered alignment and letter capitalized. Subtitles in size 12, centered alignment and letter lower. 

Acknowledgements and additional information can be indicate as foot note at the title, but with asterisk (*).

Author’s name: To ensure the process of blind review, the text submitted can't have author's name. Details as full name of each author, affiliation of each author, e-mail address of the corresponding author, research funding, brief professional biography of each author, should be supplied on the Submit form.

The articles must have an abstract between 250 and 500 words, in font Times New Roman, size 11, single spacing and justified alignment; and between 3 and 5 keywords.

Footnote: Notes should be used only if absolutely necessary and must be identified in the text by consecutive numbers in footnote, size 10. 

All citations in the text should appear by name, year and page in parentheses. Example (BRÜCKER, 2002, p. 96).

References: The references cited should be listed at the end of the article in size 12, single spacing, how in the examples:

a) Articles: Example: ABRAÃO, Jorge. Temporalidade: uma análise filosófica. Revista de Filosofia, v. 20, n. 40, 2010, p. 138-150.
