Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Os arquivos para submissão estão em formato Microsoft Word, OpenOffice ou RTF (desde que não ultrapassem 10MB)
URLs para as referências foram informadas quando necessário.
O texto está em espaço simples; usa uma fonte de 12-pontos; emprega itálico em vez de sublinhado (exceto em endereços URL); as figuras e tabelas estão inseridas no texto, não no final do documento, como anexos.
O texto segue os padrões de estilo e requisitos bibliográficos descritos em Diretrizes para Autores, na seção Sobre a Revista.
A identificação de autoria do trabalho foi removida do arquivo e da opção Propriedades no Word, garantindo desta forma o critério de sigilo da revista, caso submetido para avaliação por pares (ex.: artigos), conforme instruções disponíveis em Assegurando a Avaliação Cega por Pares.

Author Guidelines

The responsibility for editing the manuscripts is of the author, as well as for the references of the work.

The papers must be sent electronically, following the steps of a system that aims to give assistance to edition of scientific periodicals in each step of the process. If the paper contains photographical images and/or graphic illustrations, these must be sent in original format in separated files, not inserted in the text. Must be indicated in the text the approximate location where the pictures should be inserted, with titles in the language of the paper and in English.

The papers publication is subject to peer review analysis by the least two external referees. The final acceptance of the papers depends on recommendation of referees, effecting the necessary adjustments, and final approval by the Editorial Board.

The citations inside the text should meet the following standards: one author (Leipnitz, 1987); two authors (Turner & Verhoogen, 1960); three or more authors (Amaral et al, 1966). Papers with the same authors and same date should be differentiated by lowercase letters higher after the date. Do not utilize op. cit. and avoid using apud, preferring in. The references should be listed at the end of the text using alphabetical order, font 10pt and spacing 1.5 as shown in the following:

Original Scientific Papers

Original papers are unpublished Works that demonstrate a relevant analysis for the advancement of the knowledge about human rights and related areas. The editors reserve the right to publish, with the paper, comments from other authors if the paper is controversial and arouse debate.

Reflection Papers

Papers of reflection are texts that are not considered original scientific papers, which can be lectures, interviews, translations, tribunal decisions or academic papers.

Thesis and Book Reviews

The reviews of books and thesis are accepted after its publication or defense. The reviews must have a minimum of five (05) pages including bibliography.

Commented Jurisprudence

Contributions related to the analysis of juridical text.

Privacy Statement

The names and addresses informed in this journal will be exclusively used for the services provided by this publication, and will not be available to other purposes or third party.

The text submission implies the transference of exclusive rights of publication. To publish the text, the journal reserves the duty to keep the work always available and report author when arise situations that implies electronic address change of the works, seeking, where possible, ensuring the redirection of the work to the new address.
