ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is to perform a bioclimatic evaluation for broilers in the southeastern region of the state of Pará. The evaluation was carried out with the climatic data of the Center for Weather Forecasting and Climatic Studies of the National Institute of Space Research. The average data for the period of seven months, which comprised the period from December 2015 to June 2016, coinciding with the rainy season in the southeastern region of the state of Pará. The climatic variables considered for the evaluation were: maximum temperature, Minimum and average of seven months; Average relative humidity; And temperature and humidity index (ITU), calculated on the basis of the mathematical equation, based on the average temperature. The readings were performed daily. The climatological data were compared with the optimal thermal comfort conditions for broilers. The characteristics measured in the study, when compared to the required recommendations, presented higher values of RH than those recommended (50 to 70%) for broiler birds in the first week of life. For TMAX, TMED and TMIN it was observed that the thermal conditions are out of order. The UTI was in the range of 75.2 to 78.9 during the assessed period, thus requiring attention, since ITU is considered a dimensionless value, in which values of up to 74 represent comfortable environments; From 74 to 78 require careful, alert; From 79 to 84 are dangerous; From 85 onwards, can cause the animals to die.
